Ho premiere elements 13. Riesco a fare il Chroma key solo sul verde e sul nero, ma avrei bisogno di farlo anche sul bianco e sul nero. Qualcuno può aiutarmi?

      Grazie

In case I need to discuss version specific information, on what Windows computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running? And, have you updated 13 to 13.1 Update using an opened project's Help Menu/Updates.

You can use Chroma key to convert areas with solid color to transparency for a variety of solid colors. You should be able to do this for the colors green, blue, black, and white and others.

          a. you drag the Chroma key effect into your clip

          b. and, go to Applied Effects Tab/Applied Effects Palette/Chroma Key Panel expanded in order to edit the effect

          c. you click on the eyedropper and then on the color on screen and then edit the effect in the Chroma Key Panel expanded - Sensitivity slider, Threshold slider, Cutoff slider, etc.

          d. if you click on the eyedropper and then color black on screen, do you not get that color black (opaque) now becoming transparent represented by black?

Remember, Premiere Elements uses "black" to represent areas of transparency. So, make the distinction here between the color black (no transparency) and black representing transparency in the file.

Please review the above and then let me know if I have targeted your question. If possible, you might consider posting a jpg screenshot of the image in which you want to create transparent areas. If you cannot, then please explain further in words in your thread.

          Thank you.

Grazie a A T Romano. Ho aperto il computer solo oggi e proverò oggi stesso.

Il sistema è Windows 8.1 Io avevo trovato Video merge, non Khroma key. Esiste proprio la funzione Khroma Key?

            Grazie

              Thank you for the reply.

You open Premiere Elements 13/13.1 to its Expert workspace.

You import your file to Video Track 1.

You go to fx Effects/Keying/Chroma Key.

              ChromaKey1.JPG

You drag the Chroma Key from fx Effects/Keying into the video clip on Video Track 1.

Then you go to Applied Effects Tab/Applied Effects Palette/Chroma Key Panel expanded and edit the Chroma Key effect.

The goal is to convert the white to transparency.

              a. Use the eyedropper in the Chroma Key Panel to click on the white in the image. And then fine tune the result by using the Sensitivity Slider and, as needed, other sliders.

la tua risposta è molto chiara e ringrazioGianni

What version of Premiere Elements and on what computer operating system?

Are the DVD video files (VTS_01_1.VOB) standard 4:3 or 16:9?

Where are these VOB files now

                a. On a DVD disc in the DVD-VIDEO structure?

                or

                b. On the computer hard drive as DVD video files (VTS_01_1.VOB)?

How did you get them into your Premiere Elements project?

Generalizing...you should be able to place these DVD video files on the project Timeline without distortion if you use the correct project preset (set by the project automatically or by you if the project does not do it correctly).

                Looking forward to more details.

                Thank you.
