I'm currently editing a video for school and I did a title sequence with some effects in After Effects. I spent three hours working on it, and when I went to export it from After Effects to Premiere, it says that it can't open it, that the 'project file appears to be damaged'. I'm running After Effects CC 2014 and Premiere Pro CS6. Is it that you cannot export from CCs to the older CS6 programs? Is there any way that I can get around this? Please help as I'm desperate and need this as soon as possible.
correct. DynamicLink only works across programs of the same version level. Simply render your AE stuff to a clip or image sequence and import it into Premiere.
