I am currently weighing the pros and cons for using the CC subscription based plan or purchasing outright.
One question that I'm finding contradicting answers to concerns the installation on 2 computers. I understand that the license allows a user to install the software on two computers, but I am unsure as to whether or not they can be used at the same time.
From two separate forum posts, there were two different Adobe Staff answers:
I was hoping someone could help clear this up for me! Thank you in advance for your help.
you are only supposed to use one computer at any one moment in time.
you can be signed-in on up to two computers at any one time.
so, i don't really see any limitation in using those two computers.
technically, if you simultaneously clicked one computer's mouse to do something in one adobe program with your left hand and clicked something else with your right hand in another adobe program you would be violating your tos. but good luck even trying to do that.
i think that main idea, is both sign-ins are to be used by the licensee only, not by the licensee and his/her significant other, bff or offspring. and that limitation (licensee only can use) applies at any time. ie, you can not let someone (legally) use your adobe programs even when you are not using them.
