Does hitting the w key on the keyboard do what you want?
I wonder if you have the "Guides in Back" box checked under the Guides section of the prefs. Uncheck it and the guides will always be in front of page content.
Thanks for the idea, but is not making any change. W key on the keyboard will change views but guidelines will not show.
It is like the grey box that i choose to make a background is "hidding" all guidelines.
Thanks for your contribution.
I tried checking "Guides in Back" and unchecking too to see if there any change but it is not. This is a print screen even tough it is in Spanish i think is easy to understand. Here is the image.
I just wonder if i might have drawn my guides in some hidden layer? I don't think that is possible, right?
Should i restore preferences?
It is possible the guides are on a hidden layer. Did you check the Layers panel to be sure you don't have a layer turned off?
It's even more likely, though, that you have guides hidden in general. Check the View menu, or press Cmd + ; (Mac) or Ctrl + ; (Windows) to toggle them on and off.
If that still fails, then yes, try repalcing the preferences.
You were right Peter, it was a "Guides in Back" issue. I didn't remeber there were two different places in Preferences where i could do that.
One was Guidelines and the other Baseline. I don't know if i am saying the name correctly in English but the soon i found out and unchecked the box i was able to see my guides again.
Thanks for your help ;-)
