I downloaded the DNG 8.3 version since that was the highest compatible version for my Mac OS X 10.6.8.
I tried to convert a RAW(.NEF) file from my Nikon D810, first from the card and then from a desktop copy and got the message: 'The source folder does not contain any supported camera raw files.'
Do I have to upgrade my computer system to 10.7 or higher and the DNG to the 8.4 or higher so that my camera is supported and to be able to convert my RAW files?
You will need DNG converter 8.6 or newer to convert the images from that camera. I'm not a Mac person, so you will have to determine what you need to do to be able to run that version.
Thanks Jim, I just completed upgrade of my OS and installed DNG version 9 and it is working now...
