I'm moving your question to the Downloading, Installing, Setting Up forum.
Lately, I've been having the same issue. My Windows Indesign CS6 was working fine. Now when I try and open it, It will crash at the "start up service registry". I have un-installed also and used the Adobe cleaner. Then re-installed. Still happening. It is the CS6 Design and Web premium. No other problems with the other programs, just indesign.
Can anyone help me fix this?
moving to indesign forum for attention
Well i found that this error mostly happens when the printers on your system is either corrupted or is disconnected.
Try switching your default printer to either "Adobe PDF" (If available) or to "Microsoft print to PDF" printer
Steps for Windows user:
- Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device and Printers
- Find Adobe PDF under Printers > Right Click > Set as Default Printer
- Now Restart (Optional)
- Start Indesign
Hope it helps you...
