    Compile time error should be a warning

      I keep bumping into this error in FlexBuilder 2 Beta 3:
      Access of possibly undefined property enabled through a reference with static type flash.display isplayObject.

      This really should be a warning and not an error so that it can be caught at runtime if it truly fails.

          Could you provide a code sample that is causing this error?

          Thanks

            Here's one example:

            private function doDropIn(event: DragEvent):void {
            Alert.show(event.dragSource.toString());
            }

            The error appears on the Alert call, referring to event.dragSource.toString().

            "Call to a possibly undefined method toString through a reference with static type mx.core: DragSource."
