There are three reasons why Lightroom might be doing this.
- If these are RAW photos, then Lightroom first shows you the JPG preview, and then after a few seconds it has had time to render the RAW image, and so the image you see changes from the JPG preview to Lightroom's rendering of the RAW. THis is normal behavior, there is no way to turn it off.
- You are applying a develop preset when you Import. Do the sliders in the Develop Module appear to be different than zero for most sliders?
- You have modified the default edit settings. Do the sliders in the Develop Module appear to be different than zero for most sliders?
