I'm having a bit of difficulty figuring out what script to use.
I have 4 checkboxes for different occupations.
I have a form field that I want to auto-populate based on the checkbox they use.
For instance, if they mark the checkbox for "Supervisor", then I want the form field text box to auto-populate with Supervisor.
How do I make this happen??
You're going to want to create radio buttons but then style them to be check boxes in the field options tab.
Then have each checkbox field named the same but have a different "Radio Button Choice" value to make them mutually exclusive.
Then make your text box a calculated field who's value is the value of the radio button field... something like...
event.value = this.getField("myRadioButton").value
You can use either a check box or radio button group. The difference being that once an selection is made with a radio button the only way to clear the selection is to select another option. One can un-select a check box and there then will be no selection.
