Just as the title says, for some reason InDesign keeps lagging or loading while I work. I use the hand tool to move the document around or even when I scroll it lags or theres a delay. Im moving images or messing around with type and the mac loading symbol constantly pops up. I tried deleting the preferences to see if that does anything but nada. Restarting my computer seems to help but after a few minutes the problem continues. This is really slowing down my production at work. I have no issues with my other Adobe programs, only InDesign. InDesign is up to date. This problem started about 2 weeks ago so its recent for me. Where would I even start to look for a problem? Thanks in advanced.
see, if the live-Preflight is active, i had such a problem once and as the preflight was active, after every movement of a box, the spinning beachball was popping up, as described by you
It could be a Preflight problem as said by Ollie Honauer.
It can also be a problem with "display Performance". High Quality Display demands a lot of processing. Turn it back in "Object -> Display Performance -> Use View Setting".
You can also reset it in "View -> Display Performance -> Clear Object-Level Display Settings".
