Sort it out Adobe it's been years now- CFFORM flash in Chrome

    WaterMonkey

It has now been about 5 years since this bug has been in cold fusion. It won't populate cold fusion flash forms in chrome. Bug#3556744 - Flash forms created with CFFORM format="flash" do not render properly in Google Chrome

Can I request that this is sorted out asap, it is pathetic that is hasn't been fixed yet!

This is never going to get fixed.

The same problem occurs with CF11 and IE 11. Flash forms only work in older version of IE.

When the bug was filed for this, their response was:

Flash forms are deprecated in ColdFusion 11. There is no point fixing this for IE 11.

The same seems to apply to the older versions of Coldfusion. Especially since the bug you mentioned is CF 9, support for that expired last year, there are no fixes for any CF 9 bugs any more.

The repo you give in the bug report DOES work in chrome with CF11 however if you use the bind attribute instead of the value attribute. You can try applying this to your code and see if it works with CF9.
