I am having the same exact issue.
I did uninstall and re-install the ADE., deauthorize and reauthorize my computer.
Nothing worked though so far. still getting the same error message.
Please download the latest ADE 126.96.36.199585
For this problem, you need to deauthorize and authorize ADE again.
Help -> Erase authorization.
ADE will be deauhorized.
Now again AUTHORIZE ADE
Help-> authorize computer.
Error will be fixed !!
i am also getting the error check activation issue. i downloaded the newest version and when i try to deactivate ADE i get a message saying cannot deactivate try again later. i have tried numerous times and it will not deactivate. What now? it tells me i have the incorrect password but i've already done a "reset" of my password and tried the new password and no luck.
