Ever since updated to Adobe Reader DC, my Quickbooks software (updated to 2015 release) does not recognize that I have Adobe Reader software installed and continually prompts me to install Adobe Reader in order to view previous sales tax returns.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hey dianebarpet,

Thank you for posting on Adobe forums.

Could you please try uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Reader and try again.

Refer: https://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions

What is your OS Version? Also, let me know when exactly do you get this message.

Hope to hear from you.

I have the same issue.  Windows 7, Adobe CC and Quickbooks.  All Adobe products updated.  I have acrobat dc.  I open quickbooks, try to save as pdf and it just gets hung up.  It worked for years.  This is totally new (week or so).  I've tried a couple of fixes with no success.  can you help?

This seems to be an issue with Adobe Reader. I have Windows 10 and am having the same problems with different versions of quickbooks. I tried uninstalling adobe reader and went to above website but when I put in Windows 10 as my operating system and English as language the only option for software is the Reader.

I am having same issue.  PDF does not work with my Windows 10 when I use QuickBooks version 2017.  My error states that I do not have the PDF Converter installed.  What is that?  I have Acrobat DC installed.  It works on everything except when rying to send e-mails and reports from QuickBooks.  QuickBooks has no answer to this problem and neither does Adobe!

Thank you!  Using your link, I have downloaded an older version (not DC) and Quickbooks is able to recognize it.  I am running Windows 8.1
