I have done a lot of work with Video Story dealing with its source media considerations.
And, I can even tell you how to turn off the automatic pan and zoom that went into the feature.
But, I had not looked at trying to change still image duration while in the Video Story workspace.
But, at this time, after weighing all factors, I do not believe that you can alter still image duration while you are in the Video Story workspace.
I set the still image duration in preferences to 5 seconds, then my still image duration for the Video Story published to Timeline is 4 seconds.
If I set the still image duration in preferences to 3 seconds, then my stills in the Video Story published to Timeline is still 4 seconds.
Right now the any place to change still duration is after the VIdeo Story is published to Timeline, and then it is not a pretty adjust and cleanup.
I need to think about this some more.
To be continued....
Very disappointing. I wish I would have known about this limitation before I spent hours selecting photos and dropping them in. I am by no means a pro at this but have made a few slide show DVD's before and always was able to change the image duration. Seems like a pretty simple thing to be able to do!
Thanks for the reply. Sorry that the present news is not better.
I will look at this some more, but right now I am at "to shorten the duration of the video story" remove some content from a Chapter or delete a Chapter.
I have not found a way to remove the Chapter pages for the various sections.
I need to look at this with each of the themes that the feature offers and determine what gains to clip duration, if any, there are to using a different theme.
I will post more information in the next few days. If you do not see an entry in this thread from me, please post in this thread to ask for my update.
