Indesign CC 2014 | MAC OS X 10.8.5
PDF exported out of Indesign CC 2014 displayed certain words using a combination of the letters "dg" to a symbol. (See screen shots of the words Judges & Knowledge). What doesn't make sense, is why another word in the same exported pdf (using the exact same font) displayed the word acknowledgement correctly? I cannot replicate this problem. Has anybody ever seen this happen before?
Are all occurrences of "acknowledgement" text created in Indesign? Or, is one case that it's text, while another case it's in a placed graphic or placed PDF ?
You can try exporting with no font sub-setting. Export > Advance Tab > Font subset value...less than: 1%. [This value default is 100%]
What language does your paragraph (style) have?
Which composer did you use?
I experienced such problems in connection with wrong language and a form of world composer (found in the Justification part of the para style).
