We have an animation that's built in Flash and exported as an .eas spritesheet. The framerate that we used in Flash is deliberately high, because we want a lot of control of the speed of the animation later on. When importing the spritesheet into Edge, we can define our required duration for the animation and that works perfectly.
However, as we need to tweak and finetune our our fps during the project, we want to make this animation faster or slower. Can we modify this value (the duration/fps) when our Spritesheet is already imported? Or will we always have to reimport our animation and set a new duration?
Thanks in advance for a reply!
Yes you can. The imported sprite-sheet is considered as a Symbol by Animate.
Right click and edit the symbol
Each frame can be displaced on the timeline (background position), so you can change easily the speed
Also note that you can duplicate the symbol and so use the same spritesheet with various speeds (or duration as you prefer) without having to reimport.
