    dots automatically add at start of line

      Hello !

      These dots appears and I can't remove them :

      What can I do to solve the issue?

          What version of InDesign? What operating system?

           

          It appears that you have applied the punctuation for a Right-to-Left paragraph, although I don't know how you've done it. Select the text in the Character (or Control) panel, and see what language is applied. Also, make sure in the Paragraph (or Control) panel menu, you have the Adobe Paragraph Composer selected and not World Ready Composer.

            What do mean by "see what language is applied" ? I do have "Basic Paragraph +"

              I didn't mean paragraph style. Language is a character attribute: It can be viewed in the Character or Control  panel when the insertion point is in the text (see it at the bottom of this panel):

              Paragraph Composer is viewed in the panel menu of the Paragraph (or Control) panel as shown below:

              I also notice that your text is highlighted with pink. Meaning that the font applied is not available. That may also be related to the problem.

               

              What font is applied?
