I have a lot of questions and confusion over the use of
(pre)loaders. I’ve done some tutorials but can’t seem
to apply them to my situation.
What I have is an FLA with 20 frames. On frame 1 the user
clicks one of four buttons that move the timeline to Frame 5,10,15
or 20. Frame 20 has the content I’m concerned about.
There’s an Accordion component movie clip there with 5 child
movie clips each loading in a lot of html text. I want to make sure
all the text is loaded before that Accordion shows up.
What’s the best way to do this? Should I put a loader
inside each child mc?
I ran into some unique issues related to the accordion
component that I had customized.
www.newpixelcity.com/test/splash3.html and then click on the
btn for "Saltar Instrucciones".
As per one of those tutorials, I messed around with "Export
on first frame" and "Export classes on frame #" to get the
component and the customized elements off the same frame as the
preloader and this is the result.
It looks like I'm deep into "advanced" territory here and I
may back my way out, and let the user wait.
