Same problem for me. After install EA CC 2015.
My computer :
Asus Notebook N76V série
i7 / Win 8.1x64 / 16gb ram / Geforce GT 740M (4gb)...
Was sluggish before (CC2014) and still is on my machine. None of the exotic hints helped (proxy & stuff). The "fun" part is that it worked smoothly when the app was in preview stage.
To make it short: Can't work with EA and I'm really pi**ed about it.
In my case, I can use normaly EA when I work un Administrator mode (cmd.exe and type : net user Administrateur /active:yes)
The same when I desactivate GUI in launch option. But I can't find the origin of this problem.
The admin mode unfortunately didn't do anything for me. Which "deactivate GUI" option do you mean? The one from windows or does Edge Animate have one?
oh, it is hard to explain, but it helped to me.
What is interface for connect your monitor with computer do you use? Today I change my VGA to DVI and (miracle!) all work awesome. As I understand Edge Animate don't support analog connecting(or maybe it depends on videocard) and support only digital.
PS moreover try update your monitor drivers
Same problem. I still have Edge 1.0 on this computer and it runs fine. CC 2015 is too sluggish to use.
I experimented with the firewall settings to match those of Edge 1.0 is using and also updated the video drivers to no avail. Uninstalled and reinstalled, and deleted preferences too.
Mine is still completely unusable (v2015). Tried setting the run as admin but still the same. I'm not going to disable a system-wide windows setting just to get edge working.
Where can I get Edge 1.0?
Adobe please fix this problem.
Same here on mac -El capitan
iMac27 2013 late.
Too slow laggy, often elements are not visible on the stage
I cannot use EA at this state
