I have a text box in InDesign shaped like a list where I want to line spacing from the last line in the middle paragraph, "in row four" should be as small as between rows two and three. Though I change the line spacing remains spacing between rows three and four as large as the range of four and five, or between one and two. What should I do to get around this problem?
"Line one in the list.
Line two in the list that is broken and
continues on row three and even
in row four.
Row five in the list. "
check paragraph styles. indents and spacing.
a regular return will apply additional "space after" or "space before" a paragraph.
shift return will apply only the leading you have set.
If that's the case, select the return after the 3rd line and type "shift return".
A screen shot with non-printing characters showing would be very helpful here...
