From the FAQ - Adobe Stock Help | Common Questions
Does Adobe Stock offer extended licenses allowing licensees to sell derivative products or services based on an image?
At the moment, Adobe Stock offers only standard licenses, allowing the licensee to use the images for illustration purposes only.Extended licenses are available via Fotolia - Sizes and LicensesKind regardsBev
When will extended licenses be available for purchase on Adobe Stock?
We don't currently have a date for this.
Please continue to check back for updates.
Any news on this topic?
We like how Adobe Stock is integrated in Photoshop and actually would love the posibility to buy extended licenses straight from there...
Hi viverni gmbh
Thanks for your interest. I am sorry that we don't have any further news at this time.
The description for your license is extremely vague.
"Adobe Stock assets can be used in any creative project, including print ads, brochures, presentations, posters, book covers, commercials, websites, and annual reports."
"Any creative project" - Does that mean I can buy an image, put it on 10,000 tshirts and sell them?
Furthermore, why is there an Extended License section in your Adobe Stock Terms PDF?
The fact that someone has to dig through your website and download Terms and Conditions PDFs just to find out what they can/cannot do with purchased images is borderline psychotic.
This page exists, which has info about the extended license:
But there doesn't seem to actually be an option to buy the extended license.
Any update yet? Date? Anything?
I'd like to be sure I understand.
As a hobby I write audio books that I give away. I'd like to use an image for a cover for one.
If I can only buy a standard license at this time does that mean I cannot use the image for the cover?
The audio book will also go online for free downloads.
Does that also mean that I can't use the image in that context either?
BTW: You've made it too hard to find anything on licensing.
For book covers and content as long as the distribution isn't over 500,000 copies or downloads.
Thank you for the link to the blog.
I'm an Adobe CC user and I've just signed up to Adobe Stock for the 1-month free trial.
But I can't see how to buy images on and Extended License.
How do I do that?
Unllikely as it might be what would be the situation if something you expected to sell a thaousand image went and sold 500,000. Unlikely, I know, but what if?
Also, can I only use the image for one project?

If you are creating products for resale you need an Extended license regardless of whether you sell 1 item or 1000s of items.
You can use the image for more than one project. However, if you used the image for a client, you'd need to purchase an additional license if you intend to use the same image for the benefit of another client.
