    Intro Scene - Rubber Effect

      Hello All,

I am pretty new with After Effect, but extremely proficient with the rest of the suite. I am attempting to make an intro scene, but I have a question. Have you all scene that viral video where the 3D model of the Eiffel Tower is pulled from the liquid resin? Well, that is what I am trying to do with text.

Is there any way I could improve this, or better yet, have the text almost push on the background until it bursts out from pressure? Let me show you what I have.

You can use Glow or Vegas to add a stroke to your text. Make the resulting thing the same color as the background and apply the Bevel Alpha effect. You can animate the bevel settings to make it more intense while you animate the stroke getting smaller. This will imply more extreme stretching.

There are probably a bazillion different things you could do; that's just one suggestion.
