I don't recall Adobe giving us options to put the programs at a place of our choosing. Given the interdependence of many of the parts, moving the programs files around is not a good idea any way.
The catalog and your images can be located anywhere you want; this is where all the space is taken up.
In the CC app, you can designate what drive and even directory of where you would like the "app" software installed under preferences. Pretty much all of the CC apps work well if you choose to install on a drive other than your boot up drive. And as far as interdependence goes, that should not be an issue. The issue is planning, requirements, design, scope and time. According to the CC developer I had spoken with, they have been planning on having Lightroom not be dependent on install drive. I just was wondering if this issue was resolved yet.
