I've already downloaded Photoshop from the Creative Cloud as I have the

well as Lightroom is already installed you don't need to install it again.
If I understand correctly, I can 'migrate' over to the Creative Cloud LR? But my question is do I download it from the Creative Cloud menu and will it keep my folders and presets I have purchased and downloaded into my stand alone software? Or will this create craziness between the two softwares? I apologize if the question is so very basic, but I am not very knowledgeable in this area, so I need advice from those who are LOL!!
Once I download Creative Cloud manager it will miraculously connect to my existing LR?
yes it will
I downloaded the Adobe LR and what it actually did was access all the folders, photos, presets I had in my Stand Alone LR. I then removed my LR from the dock and kept the recently downloaded Adobe LR!! Yay it worked!! Thank you so much for your help.
