I am working in Windows 8.1. I have not had many issues with it earlier but now it is really unbelievable. Whenever I accidentaly press ctrl+c and ctrl+v too fast after each other, indesign crashes. Not respodning. Au revoir! Also, what happened to me several times is that after I export a pdf, suddently some text in frames (within indesign, not in pdf) disappears! And when I try doing something about - move the frame around, add the text again.. IT CRASHES! Not responding.
Please, this update really did not make me happy at all. Any way how I can fix this?
I am using CC15 and Yosemite and I am having the exact same problem. Got an entire magazine laid out, was making the PDF file for final proofing and noticed that text on some pages had completely disappeared. When I go to select those text frames or delete them, InDesign crashes. It has crashed roughly 50 times in the last couple of hours and I have no idea why. I have a 48-page magazine due to the printer today and I may have to build it form scratch.
Worked. Thank you for the quick reply
