I had no problems installing CC 2015, and have been working on an indesign file for 2 days. Today, when I opened up my file, it had reverted back to the older version saved file - meaning I'm completely missing two days worth of work. Fortunately I have a PDF proof of what I did, but I need to go back in and make changes and I don't want to recreate everything. Has this happened to anyone? Anyone know of a solution?
My hunch is that you saved the new version in a different location than you thought you did. Choose File > Open Recent and see if you see the later version there. Or, try search in your operating system.
If you were working on a legacy file, make sure you are actually opening the new version -- the old version would not have been automatically overwritten. The default was to save the new version with [Converted] appended to the name.
You are right! Thank goodness. Not sure how it saved to a different folder, but I'm glad it did. Thanks Steve.
