Hello everyone. So, I just installed AfterEffects CC 2015, and suddenly I can no longer import .DNG sequences or .CR2 sequences as footage. I was doing this flawlessly right up until I upgraded to CC 2015. Now I get the following error code:
After Effects error: Photoshop file format error 3415
( 45 :: 35 )
For now, I will try rolling back to the 2014 version, but it would be nice to know if this is a known issue people are facing or if there's something I'm doing wrong.
Is this on Mac OS or Windows? What version of the OS?
With the same files, do you have this problem in After Effects CC 2014 (13.2)?
What version of the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in is installed? Is the plug-in file actually present? You can find it here:
Mac OS: (HD root level)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CC/File Formats/Camera Raw.plugin
Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\File Formats\Camera Raw.8bi
(You can also get the version by opening a camera raw file in Photoshop and looking at the title bar of the Camera Raw window.)
Camera Raw 9.1 is the current version, and was released earlier this week. Have you installed that update?
