@ADelcorde_Hotmail Jun 20, 2015 2:44 AM (in response to ManiacJoe)See the following (From Jeffrey Friedl blog) Jeffrey Friedl's Blog » FAQ for Jeffrey’s Plugins for Adobe Lightroom . It works for me (I did it once as normal user, once "as administrator", doesn't know if necessary). Probably occurs after you decide to uninstall your previous LR version.
- Every time I start Lightroom, I get a message long the lines of “Lightroom needs to configure your system for the $$$/xxx=....... plug-in.”.
This is an issue with Lightroom's installer; the plugin does not need to be reinstalled. To fix it, either uninstall/reinstall the Lightroom application, or open a command window and run
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom\lightroom.exe" -register
(Do include the quote symbols shown on the line above; also, you may need to adjust the drive name and folder path to match the location of your Lightroom install)

5. Re: Lightroom needs to configure your system for the ( ) plugin
Terry_Straehley Jul 16, 2016 1:44 PM (in response to AnthonyBenger)It works as an administrator. I might add that you may have to use the cd command to get to the Adobe Lightroom folder. Trying to run with the command quoted results in the message "C:\Program is not a valid command."
