I noticed in the "what's new" for AE CINEWARE is listed as supporting "Real 3D" allowing me to bring 3D objects into my project.
When I tried it out it still seems like it is using a 2D layer...the performance is far better than previous versions, but it still does not feel like real 3D.
Is there something I am missing?
I would suggest that you run through some of the training materials for Cineware. A 3D object from C4D will interact with the camera in AE perfectly if you have the proper settings.
Thanks for the answer
So then I am correct that it is still not Real 3D, it is still a 2D layer.
from the marketing for CC 2015 I thought things had finally changed.
