I have a 2-page spread for a Master. Each page of the Master has a background image, an image at the top of the page, and a page number box at the bottom of the page. When I try applying the Master to just the first page of a spread, for some reason it adds the background image of the second page of the Master to the second page of the spread. This background image covers any other Master I try to apply to the second page. The odd thing is that it only shows the background image, not the image at the top or the page number at the bottom. Does anyone happen to know why it's doing this and how I can make it stop doing it?
Make sure that no part of the image crosses the page boundary (even move it .001 pt away, if necessary).
That was the problem. They weren't overlapping, but it seems even having them touch the center line was enough to cause a problem.
