After Effects cc6 is running slow on my new MacBook Pro (2.5 GHz, 16 GB memory) As soon as I launch After Effects, I get the following message: "Your disk cache is on a drive that does not have enough available space to safely store the full amount specified in your preferences. Please make more space available or go to Media & Disk cache preferences to change the folder or maximum disk cache size." I've emptied the cache numerous times and it didn't help.
What do you mean by 'cc6'? That is not an After Effects version number.
Emptying the disk cache does nothing to address the issue mentioned in that warning message. It is telling you that the amount that you've asked to allocate for the disck cache is larger than can be safely stored on that drive. It has nothing to do with the curent contents of the disk cache.

Sorry, I meant cs6
