It sounds like you are trying to use Camera Standard instead of Adobe Standard as the default Develop settings.
I tried to reset this by going to "Set Default Develop Settings" menu and clicked on both the "Restore Adobe Default Settings" and "Update to Current Settings" with "Camera Standard" selected. None of which fixed the issue.
Does Camera Standard "stick" if you don't click on one of the Develop presets? If so and only the Develop preset causes the profile to change to Adobe Standard then it probably has 'Calibration' selected in the preset with 'Adobe Standard' profile. If you created the Develop preset and know what settings were used, 1) apply the preset to an image, 2) right click on the preset, select 'Update with current settings,' and select only the settings you want applied with the preset. Make sure 'Calibration' is NOT checked.
OK I figured it out. It's a known issue with the newest version of Lightroom 2015.1 and Nikon D810. I downloaded the temp fix from Adobe and it selects the correct default profile now.
Thanks for the reply.
Hi, For some reason, whenever I choose a develop preset that does not have a camera calibration profile specified (it should be and used to be "Camera Standard"). It would pick the very first profile in the list instead of "Camera Standard".
Are you trying to use the Camera Standard profile or Adobe Standard profile? The Nikon D810 issue in LR 6/CC is with the Adobe Standard profile......it's missing after the .1 update
You should be able to use the Camera Standard profile as your default Develop settings or use it in a preset with no issues. Only images or presets that use the Adobe Standard profile are affected and will show the Camera Flat profile after the LR 6/CC.1 update.
Yes, you are right it should be "Adobe Standard". Once I upgraded the new version the default profile was the very first in the profile so I thought it used to be "Camera Standard".
Yes these images were shot on the D810 and the issue was fixed from your link.
