Do you mean the "Adobe PDF 9.0" PPD file: ADPDF9.PPD
Just search the web.
Or do you mean a device driver for a specific PostScript printer attached to your Mac?
(Then a specific PPD should be available through the manufacturer)
I am using Acrobat from the Creative Cloud can I still use that ADPDF9.PPD version?
Yes. I did and tested that recently.
You just have to put it in "Presets/PPDs" of the "Adobe InDesign CC 2015" application folder.
The folder "PPDs" will not exist. So create it.
This workflow is not recommended, but it is useful, if creating PDF/X-1a PDFs via PostScript/Distiller where I had to scale the output.
No way to create PDFs with transparency intact this way, so chose your Transparency Reduction settings wisely.
Brilliant it works perfectly thankyou so much for the help!
