This sometimes occurs due to incorrect permissions.
- Launch Finder and click the go menu whilst holding down the optn (Alt) key and navigate to: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom.
-Highlight the Lightroom folder and chose File >> Get Information or Cmd+i.
-Under Sharing & Permission, verify that your have Read & Write Privileges. If not, click the padlock icon at the lower right, enter your password when prompted, then click the Read only entry and select Read & Write for everyone.
N.B. the user Library is hidden until the optn (Alt) key is depressed.
I'm sorry, I really don't see what is the « go menu » of Finder...
When you launch finder click on the word Go on the top menu bar. Its between the View and Window menus.
One other quick thing to check.
Do you have a destination folder selected in the right-hand panel of the import dialog? If you are using “Copy” or “Copy as DNG” you need to choose an existing folder or let LR create dated sub- folders.
I click on everywhere I can on the Finder principal menu, holding the alt key, and I can see nothing more...
I can't see any GO... Grrrrr...
I look for the destination folder...
I just can't believe it !
I use Lightroom for more than a year... and I thought I had a very big problem... was so simple !!!!
Thank you so much !!!
