I am using Audition CS5.5 and Windows 7 64-bit. Today, I decided to install the new CC2015 version of Audition to check it out. And the first thing I did was bring up an audio file of a noisy cassette tape and apply a noise reduction effect to it. Then I looked at the "performance" tab in task manager. 25%. Same as always been. Will Audition ever have 64-bit effect processing that takes advantage of all 8 (virtual) cores of my i7 processor? I do a lot of audio restoration and I'd really like to speed up the process.
