Definitely Flash and pretty easy to do. It's all hand drawn arms and legs over a jpeg icon. The bg is just a screen cap from WOW. Very basic and you could totally do this if you have Flash. What IS well done though is the directing and that's a bit harder to achieve without practice. IF you want to do something like this, i suggest you write it out on paper, then storyboard it, which is really just a comic book visual form of the script and then bring that into Flash to rough time it to whatever soundtrack you're going to use, and then once it's rough timed you animate the final pieces. Making a film is just as much about preparation as it is animating.
Have you, or anyone else got some guides to help me? I have no idea where to start but I am willing to learn
Start here: Flash Professional CC tutorials | Learn how to use Flash Professional CC and get the basics of how Flash works, then maybe a book like one of the three listed below:
How to Cheat in Adobe Flash CC: The Art of Design and Animation
by Chris Georgenes
Foundation Flash Cartoon Animation
by Barry Kelly
The Art of Flash Animation: Creative Cartooning
by Mark Smith
Or any of the Flash animation courses available at lynda.com
None of these have really helped with the features I want to use, any others?
Forgive me but if you have no idea how to use Flash how can you be sure none of these tutorials will help?
I followed some of the tutorials but they didnt really help, anyone got any others?
