Hi guys, I'm using a flattener preset to convert text in outlines for months, but today a problem occurred. I had to export a working pdf with its clichè path within -overprint, colored with a spot color-, and even if I try to deselect "convert strokes to outlines" option in my flattener preset, it keeps being converted into a shape, when I need -actually service does- it to be a path. Why?
If needed, I work on Indesign CC 2015 on an iMac 27" late 2013, intel i5 3.2, OS X 10.10.3 (Yosemite)
Thanks a lot!
Hard to tell, if we cannot look into the actual document.
I guess it will depend of the kind of transparency you are using…
Is your clichè path in a separate layer on top of all other elements on the page?
Yep, exactly. All my art is set to opacity 100%, I use a script that creates another layer above all with a 0% opacity rectangle on the master page, so the outline trick can happen.
Do the layer with the clichè path stacked on top of the layer with the transparency.
That should do it.
