If you have InDesign CC, you can download InDesign CS6 from the CC app. Select the Apps tab. Scroll down to Find Additional Apps, and from the menu select Previous Versions, and you can choose to download CS6. InDesign CS6 allows you to open Pagemaker 7 files.
Be aware that it's a translation which is not perfect.
That sounds like just the solution I was looking for, but when I went to CC
and looked for "previous versions" the only 2 on the list were
EdgeAnimateCC and GamingSDK. Is there another place I can find CS6? Thanks

Thank you guys so much for your help. I wasn't able to access a previous version of InDesign because I was on the 30-day trial (wanted to make sure it worked before I bought it!). Once I made the purchase, I was able to access the previous version screen that you showed me. I have it installed and have just pulled up my file. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions!
