I have saved other projects as printer spreads before using InDesign's print booklet feature, but all those projects only required that the booklet be printed on a single sheet of letter-sized paper (each page in a spread was only half-letter size). I am currently working on a project where each page in the spread is full letter-sized. Therefore, I need to be able to print the booklet spreads on 11x17 paper. For some reason, InDesign will not let me do this. It keeps cropping the pages to standard letter size in a portrait orientation. The 'preview' in the print booklet dialogue box shows the correct format, but when I open the postscript file in Acrobat Distiller, it's cropped and messed up. Thoughts?
Export single page PDFs and use Acrobat’s booklet printing feature.
