Are the PDF documents opened in Safari (the default web browser for iOS) on your Pad?
Please take a look at the "Open from Safari" section of the following FAQ document.
You can tap anywhere in a PDF document to show the secondary toolbar and select 'Open In..." instead of tapping the Share button in the top bar.
Hope this helps.
im using safari on ipad air and ipad 2 i know how to open once thyr in readr, problem is when i hit the downloadbutton i get a blank page with no options appearing re where to download. this is a recent problem starting after i signed into adobe on line. they download fineon my windows pc
Which app is showing the Download button?
I assume that it is a problem with the HTML page showing the Download button in Safari.
Unlike Windows or Mac OS X, Apple iOS does not make the local file system visible to iOS users. It is not possible for iOS users to specify download destination on iPad/iPhone.
Unfortunately, Acrobat Reader for does not have control over it.
The answer (the last post #7) in the following forum thread may help you resolve your problem with the Download button in Safari.
I am not sure if it will work, but it's worth a try.
