I just download Adobe After effects and I got this error when it opened
Ray-tracing on the GPU requires an approved NVIDIA graphices card and CUDA 5.0 or later. This may require installing the current display driver. For now, ray-tracing will use the CPU.
After installing CUDA 5.0 or later, restart your computer

Processor: Intel i7-3770 CPU 3.40GHz
RAM: 8.00 GB
System Type: 64-bit
My graphics: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
In the future I may be doing video editing more oftern so can someone point me in the best direction for what to get in my next PC
Ray Tracing is legacy at this point since Adobe has moved on with the C4D link. I would not worry about that since it was rarely used anyway. You can get a 960GTX card though and improve your performance for Premiere and AME. AE uses almost all CPU and ram for performance right now.
Thanks, all good now
