We want to provide an e-book (PDF) file to people that sign-up/register and give us their name and email address - but we only want people who submit the form to be able to access the e-book. Is there any way to prevent access to the e-book to anyone who did not complete the form?

Thanks!

I'm thinking you can use a webform to subscribe users to a member only area - Using web forms to subscribe a site visitor to a members only area and then use a media download item to "host" the PDF - Add media downloads

The neat thing for media downloads is they can be secured - this means that even if somebody has the link unless they login they cannot download the actual file.

Hope this helps,
