I'm using 3 music video files that are 500+ MEG AVI files.
I'd sure like to shrink those way down. I'm using Director 7.0 for
PC. Any suggestions on compressing those files and keep them
usable? I'll be using the video files in an enhanced CD
For AVI's, Indeo Video Interactive (4, 5) is very good.
However, I tend to avoid
AVIs. This is an old video format that is becoming obsolete.
It is still supported
but has not had the advances of other video software. Even
the Indeo codec is no
longer standard on the latest Windows Opertaing System
installations. If it's
cross platform, QT may be better. You can also use MPEG-1.
Flash video is becoming
popular but you won't be able to use it with D7.
By the way, there was an update for Director 7, a D7.02
update. I have the file if
you'd like. If you'd like it or more info, let me know. I can
