Converting Elements project to regular video formats?

    axxionjackson

I built a video and am happy with the results - but when I tried to post it, the format was not recognized. It was a Premiere Elements Project file.  Any idea how to fix this?

What version of Premiere Elements and on what computer operating system is it running?

When you open Premiere Elements to a new project, all you have is the project file in which you do your importing of source files and editing. If you save the project at the editing stage, all you have is the project file which opens in Premiere Elements.

If you want to share the video so that it can be seen by others, then you go to the Publish+Share/ section of the opened project and decide how you want to share the project - as a movie file saved to the computer hard drive for computer viewing, burn to disc for playback on TV's DVD or Blu-ray player, upload to YouTube at the YouTube web site or using Premiere Elements' built in YouTube feature, or other.

Please tell us your project settings, the properties of your source on the Timeline, how you want you viewer's to watch your movie, and then we will customize a reply with all the Publish+Share/ details that you need.

Any questions or need clarification on any of the above, please do not hesitate to ask.

            Thank you.

              Add On...

Just a note to avoid a problem that you may encounter in the Publish+Share area.

Publish+Share/Computer/ has several choices under that category. But, you may not see them all. Use the thin scroll bar to the right of the choices to scroll down the choices to see those toward the bottom of the list that are hidden because of the limited visible area for the choices.
