How can I speed up an SVG (sprite sheet based) key frame animation?

I've spent the whole day looking for an answer, and still I can't find one. Here's my screenshot below of how I have animated my SVG.

I've used keyframes for creating the animation effect, in which each keyframe represents an SVG sprite from the svg sprite sheet I made. I've laid out the keyframes on a "10 / second" grid, although in the screenshot it shows a

"24 / second" grid system because I was messing around so please do ignore that. All I want to do is speed up the animation so that it's 3 seconds long instead of 6 seconds long. I thought I would be able to simply highlight all the  keyframes and then scale them down but all that does is move them in the time line... Please, someone, anyone, help me.
