Hello, i have this question, when i finish my animation i want to save it in .MOV file but it says "Quicktime is not Available" i installed Quicktime but i have the same problem, then i installed Quicktime Alternative and it works but after some exports i get same message and even those videos have the quicktime logo but i get the message of Quicktime is not available, what am doing wrong?
i have Adobe Flash CS6 and i tried both ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0
Probably nothing. Look to see if you have Adobe Media Encoder installled. Flash uses the encoder to export to video. Media Encoder, in turn, uses whatever video compressors are installed on your computer for compression.
This seems incorrect. Using AME is optional, Flash Pro should produce the MOV without using AME.
As for the original problem, it could be that you're running 64 bit Windows with 32 bit QuickTime installed. Look at the iTunes installer, which does both iTunes and QuickTime at 64 (I hope!):
