I don't know whether this is possible, but I am trying to auto exit Acrobat Reader when the last page of the PDF is reached (after a short delay). This is what I did:
app.fs.timeDelay = 10;
app.fs.useTimer = true;
app.fs.usePageTiming = true;
Unfortunately the File->Exit action appears to be suppressed (I am using Acrobat Professional 9 Professional on Windows 7 x64.
Is there any way to accomplish this?
You can close the current file but you can't close the application itself using a script.
Is there any automated way to close the application?
No. That is the user's prerogative, not yours.
Ok thanks. One wonders why the action is in there.
