Hello Ladies and Gents!
I have this strange problem when importing .PDF file to InDesign and putting in on black - it creates white border around the image. At first I thought there's a problem in .PDF but checked that, done shifting edge in Photoshop to remove the white border and it still appears in InDesign.
Settings are set to high quality display, PDF is the newest version as could be. I'm afraid this could print in the final banner which my client wouldn't be very happy of.
1. Looking at the Photoshop screen capture, I see a lot more refinement that could be done on your mask edges to make it better and reduce the fringe.
2. Even with High Quality Display selected, the image you see on-screen in the InDesign editing environment is not your image, and you should not be making any fine judgments based on it.
3. I'd just be saving the image as .PSD. What leads you to choose PDF; which subjects the image to some "recipe" or other?
