any hint how to solve this?
Use styles in Word and use the same names (and preferably style definitons) in both programs and NEVER us a local style override.
So this is an indesign bug...?
Style override seems to work pretty well when placing and re-linking.
Actualization does not!
Not a bug. It's as designed.
Style overrides might work, for all I know, but you're best off creating styles for all requirements. No surprises that way.
All right, after re-linking a word document once (out of the links palette) the actualization does what it's supposed to do.
After that it does not change the paragraph styles any more.
In my opinion this behavior is not as wanted. This is a Bug.
(working with CS6 maybe it's anyway solved in CC)
Never make style overrides in InDesign. Why are you using them? Redefine styles. This behavior is so as it should be.
Fact is that it doesn't work without a workaround...
„WordsFlow“ is a really useful suggestion. But for the one way workflow I expect Indesign to do it's job.
Never use a certain part of a Software...
Are you guys working for Adobe?
Is your job making me not use the word "bug"?
I contacted this forum because of serious problems with my work. Needing help.
But I just get told not to use this part of the software or read the denying of a malfunction.
@ Adobe. I'm a fan of your software but not of this forum. Please update!
If it would be the way you want to function it, I would submit immediately a bug report.
No, we are not on Adobe's payroll.
