There are no spaces between the grater and less than symbols?
In this case you can do something like this:
(if spaces exists you can use <[\w\s]+> )
Don't forget: <New York> and <dry-cleaning>
Thanks! I will give it a try.
Sorry IMHO (?R) doesn't work with my ID CS5.
You're right! Apparently introduced since CS6!
Sorry! You've tilted! Game over!
I give up.
I'm really enjoying the back and forth on this obi wan and pixxxel. :>)
This worked for what I needed <\w+> -- and so did <[\w\s]+> and <[\w\s-]+>.
Since you all seem to understand all this:
A couple more questions:
1. Can I switch the <> in this have it work to find the text using the other character (i.e.: (fergqerg322) or [jaweg8er] ... ?
2. I am working on a document that has special characters which come over as highlighted in pink.
I can select each individually and change font to Symbol and they are then correct.
Is there a way to search for the pink highlighted text using grep and change the font for all to Symbol?
3. How did you learn this stuff?
I may have some other questions as I go through this project-- just tell me if I am annoying you.
Pixxxel, I let you answer!
About point 3., when I was little, my grandfather on Tataouine told me stories about the Force, the evil Siths and the great Jedi Master Grepoda! ...
